I am now receiving so many emails that I can only respond to a small fraction. For this reason I have set up this page covering the most frequently asked questions. Please read it before considering emailing me a question.

Questions Before Requesting Software.

Do I really need Excel on my machine to run the software?
You need Microsoft Excel 97 or later to be installed on your machine.

Alternatively, there is a free spreadsheet application that will run most Excel files. The suite of programs is called OpenOffice and the specific application within it is called Calc. It can be downloaded free from www.openoffice.org but is a very big download. I haven't tested it so if you use it please let me know if it works.

Questions on Using Software.

When I try to open the file my computer asks me to choose an application to run it with.
Choose Excel. If this is not an available option you may not have Excel installed on your machine.

Could I please have the passwords to unprotect the worksheets etc. because. . .
Let me stop you there, the answer is no, I won't give out the passwords for any reason, please don't ask!

Is it possible to add more players beyond 40 goalkeepers, 80 defenders, 80 midfielders and 60 strikers?
No, this is not possible. I had to restrict the numbers of players as the software would have run too slow.

Is it possible to add more teams beyond 100?
No, this is not possible. I had to restrict the numbers of teams as the software would have run too slow.

When I add data the software does not update.
You must always SAVE to update the data.

On the scoring system on the SETUP page, can I add a new scoring category or rename one or amend one?
No sorry, the software does not have this functionality.
