Your selected players score points for your team based on their
real-life performances in Carling Premier League matches played between
Saturday 19 August 2000 and Sunday 10 December 2000 inclusive. No Cup or other
non Premier League matches count towards the game. The scoring system is as
follows:

Clean sheets are awarded to goalkeepers and defenders for a match only if: 1. They are on the pitch at some stage during the match (whatever length of time), and 2. their team completes the whole game without conceding a goal. Points are not awarded or deducted for scoring an own goal. If a player receives a second yellow card or a yellow and red card during a game (i.e. sent off) the total deduction is 3 points. |
