Rules
By entering a team you are agreeing to the following:
General
1.) The decision of the organisers (Premiership Sharpshooters) on all
matters will be final.
Entry
1.) Entry is free.
2.) Entries must be made via the Internet using the form on the ENTRY FORM
page.
3.) We reserve the right not to accept or to terminate entries, for any reason.
Incomplete, incorrect or late entries will not be accepted.
4.) If your team has been processed incorrectly by us you must notify us no
later than 14 days after the closing date. After this date errors in team
processing will not be amended.
Team Selection and Gameplay
1.) Your team must consist of eleven different players; made up of one
goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three strikers, selected from
the list on the PLAYERS page.
2.) The total cost of your team must not exceed £60 million.
3.) Points will be awarded for 1999/2000 season Carling Premiership matches
only, played between 24 January 2000 and the end of the season on 14 May
2000.
4.) Each manager may enter the transfer market twice during the game;
transferring up to two players on each occasion. Hence a maximum of four
players may be transferred during the game. Transfers must be made using the
form on the TRANSFERS page.
5.) Transfers can be submitted at any time but must be received by midday on
Saturday to be effective from the following Monday.
6.) If your transfer has been processed incorrectly by us you must notify us no
later than 14 days after the date it becomes effective. After this date errors
in transfer processing will not be amended.
7.) The scoring system is as follows:

8.) A goalkeeper/defender playing active roll in any part of a match can be
awarded a clean sheet.
9.) Own goals do not count.
10.) If a player receives two yellow cards or one yellow and one red card in a
match the total deduction is 3 points.

2.) If scores are tied at the end of the competition the prizes will be
shared as appropriate.
3.) Every effort will be made to ensure that no errors are made in the
calculation of player scores and team totals. At the end of the competition a
thorough recheck of the scores will be made, and any errors corrected, before
prizes are awarded. No responsibility will be accepted for errors detected
after the award of prizes.
